Bertrand Friguet, Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan from 1978 to 1983 then 3rd cycle thesis and University thesis in Biochemistry; Habilitation to conduct researches. Teacher-researcher since 1985 and professor since 1998 at the University of Paris 7 - Denis Diderot then at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie since 2007 and Sorbonne Université since 2018. Visiting associate researcher in the laboratory of Dr Earl Stadtman at the NIH, Bethesda, USA in 1993 and 1994; Junior member of the Institut Universitaire de France from 1995 to 2000. Director of the "Biology and cellular biochemistry of aging" laboratory at the University of Paris 7 - Denis Diderot from 1997 to 2008. Director of the "Cellular biology of aging" team "and UR4 - UPMC from 2009 to 2013. Since 2014, co-leader of the "Integrated cellular aging and inflammation" team and director of the SU CNRS 8256 joint research unit "Biological adaptation and aging" (B2A-IBPS) and the INSERM ERL U1164. Director (or co-director) of sixteen doctoral students since 1995 (including one in progress).
