Epigenetics and RNA metabolism in human diseases

Chromatin is the real matrix from which RNA is synthesized. Chromatin also serves as a support for RNA maturation events and influences this maturation through epigenetic information. In the laboratory, we study these links between chromatin, epigenetics and RNA maturation with a particular interest in the mechanisms of degradation of non-coding RNAs and for alternative splicing in the context of cancer and aging.
